Public Toilets
Scarborough is well served by public toilets along South Bay, North Bay and the harbourside. Here we tell you where to find them, along with a map showing their location. Some charge 40p at times but as of writing, these charges are currently NOT in place. Scarborough Borough Council offer free access for school groups to North Bay Beach Management and West Pier public toilets. For more information please contact public.conveniences@scarborough.gov.uk at least two weeks in advance of your visit. 
Clock Tower
FREE: The Clock Tower toilets are situated just off the Esplanade close to the Clock Tower and Putting Green. 
Cliff Lift
FREE: The Cliff Lift toilets are next to the bottom station of the cliff lift on the promenade close to the beach in South Bay.
St. Nicholas Gardens
FREE: The original toilets are currently being refurbished, with temporary ones now located next to the ferris wheel on the old Futurist Theatre site in South Bay on Foreshore Road close to the beach.
West Pier
40P CHARGE (In normal times). These toilets are situated on West Pier on Scarborough Harbour and are perhaps the most used in Scarborough. They have baby changing facilities too. 
Vincent Pier
FREE: These newly-built toilets have 4 unisex cubicles and can get busy during peak times. They are situated close to Luna Park on Scarborough Harbour. 
Marine Drive
FREE: These modern toilets are made up of 5 unisex cubicles on Marine Drive in North Bay and offer facilities for those walking along Marine Drive.
North Bay Beach
40P CHARGE (In normal times). These are perhaps the best toilet facilities in Scarborough, right on North Bay Beach in the Beach Management Centre. They include baby changing and shower facilities.
Northstead Manor Gardens
FREE: These toilets are opposite Peasholm Station close to Peasholm Park and are situated in the small car park.
Peasholm Park
FREE: These toilets are in the middle of Peasholm Park close to the lake and seating areas.
