This year brings an exciting twist: for the first time, the entire festival moves to the iconic Scarborough Spa, offering a stunning waterfront backdrop right on the South Bay.

Whether you are a lifelong coastal lover or visiting Scarborough for the very first time, this free three-day extravaganza promises an unforgettable weekend of food, music, and seaside culture.

A New Chapter at Scarborough Spa

By moving to the historic Scarborough Spa, Seafest 2026 aligns perfectly with the town's ongoing "Scarborough 400" celebrations, marking four centuries since the town became Britain’s original seaside resort. The indoor and outdoor spaces of the Spa will come alive with local traders, interactive exhibitions, and a bustling, family-friendly atmosphere.

Weekend Highlights

• Fresh Catch & Cooking Demos: Watch talented regional chefs prepare exquisite seafood dishes using local ingredients sourced straight from the North Sea. And just announced: Renowned Chef and food writer, Ryan Riley BEM will be demonstrating at 12:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Ryan is founder and chef at Life Kitchen, Britain’s leading taste and flavour expert, an award-winning writer, and a recipe columnist for The Independent.
• Live Coastal Music: Tap your feet to an eclectic lineup of local bands, acoustic acts, and folk musicians performing throughout the weekend.
• Family Fun & Entertainment: Keep children smiling with dedicated craft areas, lively street performers, and face painting.
• Saturday Night Firework Finale: Look up to the skies over South Bay on Saturday evening at 9:45 PM for a spectacular firework display, followed by a high-energy performance from local favourites, Sunbeam, inside the Grand Hall.
