Scarborough’s The Toulson Court keeps hold of its title of world’s best B&B after first winning the coveted accolade last year. Run by couple Angela and James, it is located close to the seaside town’s Peasholm Park and a short walk from North Bay Beach.

Not only is the UK home to the world number one B&B this year, the nation also boasts five of the world’s top 25, tying with the US (also boasting five winners) to claim bragging rights that it is the country with more winners than any other in the world. In the Europe list, the UK celebrates eight winners in total, five of which make up Europe’s top five.

The 2022 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards are based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period from 1 January, 2021 through 31 December, 2021.
