Status Quo, who headlined Scarborough OAT in 2013, 2014 and 2016, have sold more than 118 million records and spent more than 500 weeks on the UK Album Chart since forming in the 1960s. Led by founder Francis Rossi, Quo have recorded 64 British hit singles – more than any other band – including such classics as Caroline, Pictures of Matchstick Men, Down, The Wanderer and Rockin' All Over the World. The Scarborough show is among their first in the UK since their widely acclaimed ‘Out Out Quoing’ European Arena Tour in December 2022 which included a huge Wembley show.

Pop superstar Jess Glynne makes a long-awaited return to Yorkshire coast next summer for her THIRD unmissable headline show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Jess, who headlined Scarborough OAT in 2017 and 2019, said: “I can't wait to get back on stage and go live for all my people! It's gonna be a good year... let's go!” The news follows the recent arrival of her latest single Friend of Mine. The single comes after the summer banger What Do You Do? Both brilliant singles mark a new and more personal chapter for the GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter, who has delivered some of the most memorable dance-pop hits of the past decade. Smashing her way into the nation’s consciousness as the vocalist on Clean Bandit’s 2014 smash Rather Be and Route 94’s My Love, Jess has since become one of the UK’s biggest acts with hits including I’ll Be There, Hold My Hand andDon’t Be So Hard on Yourself. Her two previous Platinum-selling albums have both become Number One records and she collected three Ivor Novello nominations, won a GRAMMY, racked up nine BRIT Award nominations and 1.2 billion streams. 

Thirty six years after releasing their iconic debut album, Raintown, Deacon Blue, last month, released All The Old 45s – The Very Best of Deacon Blue together with a career-spanning anthology box set You Can Have It All – The Complete Albums Collection. Both new releases chart the band’s multi-million selling history – from bringing Chocolate Girl and Dignity to life in the corner of a Glasgow basement, to stadium-filling hits like Wages Day and Real Gone Kid, their swoon-inducing tribute to Bacharach and David I’ll Never Fall In Love Again and 2012’s The Hipsters. “It feels like the right time to celebrate that; to release something that’s a true compilation of our music so far,” said songwriter and vocalist Ricky Ross.
