Visit Scarborough To Host Easter Guided Walking Tours

We are offering 3 guided walking tours on Thursday 17th April, including a child-friendly family walking tour.

Tour 1: From Dinosaurs To Seaside Resort - 11:00am - £10pp or £17 for 2
Be prepared to be amazed as you discover a Scarborough you didn't know about! We'll show you an actual dinosaur footprint, and the still-visible damage from the WW1 German bombardment from the sea. You can stand on the very spot the British seaside resort was created and hear incredible facts about this most amazing town. And we'll treat you to a ride on a cliff tram to finish off the tour! The views will be fantastic start to finish with endless photo opportunities. This new route has a small number of steps and includes only small inclines. Distance covered is around 1.85 miles with the tour taking around 90 minutes.

Tour 2: Castle Headland, Old Town and Harbour - 2:00pm - £10pp or £17 for 2
Be wowed with incredible views and fascinating facts about the oldest part of Scarborough. We'll wander down our hidden ancient street, discover the history of St. Mary's Church and Scarborough Castle and how the two became embroiled in a battle in the English Civil War. We'll see Anne Bronte's grave and learn about Scarborough's amazing maritime heritage. This walk does include walking up to the castle entrance from the seafront so it is advisable to be of a good level of fitness.
